  1. Is it possible to copy officially released dvd's from the shop?

I have heard that some have protection and some don't. Someone once told me that you have to convert it to divx form before putting it onto dvd.

How would I copy a copyright protected dvd with "Ulead Dvd Moviefactory SE v2.0"?

You should however look to the left of the screen and perhaps read few guides. That will clear up most questions.

Movie Factory is more suited to producing your own 'home made' DVD s from DV cameras and the like.

The link provided by tompika is for perhaps one of the most user friendly DVD back up programs available.

Its Bad, bad an Wrong. So bad there should be a new word for it. Like... Badrong!

Seriously if its for backup reasons no one cares here, but if your copying rented movies thats another thing.
