Fitting 5.23 GB VCD on a DVDR

Hi guys.. I have a few episodes (They are 5.23 GB together). Would be resonable to downsample a bit...

I have tried numerous DVD Author programs, like dvdmoviefactory, sonic mydvd, and so on... Ulead dvd movie factory was great and easy, but ofcourse it exceeded the 4.35 GB Limit, So I would like to know if there's a good program that can save my episodes as vobs and then I can downsample them with dvd2one. Can Ulead dvd movie factory do this? That would be great. Or any similiar program that can handle VCD's without converting to MPEG-2....
