  1. Please read the post i posted yesterday. Thanks for all the replys. The thing is. When i say about putting 3 Movies on one DVD disk. The ones i have seen are written as a DVD format not VCD or SVCD. As you can see i an realy NEW . Any help Please

Can anyone point me in the direction of how i can put just my movies onto a DVD. I have seen upto 3 Movies on one disk. I would like to keep my originals in tack. But my daughter lends them out. Putting 3 films on to one disk would save my originals. Thanks in advance

A DVD is ~4.3Gb (not 4.7) use the calc. (link below) to decide on the appropiate bitrate.
    https://www.videohelp.com/calc.htm

BITRATE (and ONLY bitrate) multiplied by TIME (length of movie/mpeg2) dictates SPACE used. Very Simple.

DVD EXAMPLE (using 192 bit audio)

90 minutes will fit with a bitrate of ~6500
    BUT
3 hours will fit if the bitrate is ~3200

Of course with a lower bitrate you will get a poorer quality encode.
