best player for DVD-mp3 and svcd

what is the best player for DVd-mp3 albums (1000's of songs, in fact my complete cd library on one disc!) It must have an excellent interface which is really where most of these players fall down, the ability to play tracks in random order. It must also be excellent on playing svcd and DVD, I would like the most features possible, but high media compatibility is one of the major features. MP4 playing is not a priority, cost is and it must be available in the Uk. My reference standard is the toshiba sd210e, sadly pilfered recently. great picture, very good media, but annoying svcd thing, and no random playing of mp3. Possibly new player could play HD(1.4gb) cdr as per optorite(and sanyo?). no rush tho as i dont have the cash yet.

HELLO, I READ THE POST YOU GAVE.. I BOUGHT 3 DIFFERENT PLAYERS SONY(560),CINEVISION(650) KENWOOD(4450) THAT ALL WHERE GIVING HIGH RATINGS INTHE FORUM.. THE SONY AND CINEVISION WORKED WELL FOR ABOUT A WEEK, SO I RETURNED THEM AND GAVE THE SAME RESULTS. THEY PLAY DVD'S FINE BUT I'M ONLY INTERESTED IN A PLAYER THAT GIVES GOOD RESULTS WITH OR PLAYS ONLY VCD/SVCD.. IS THERE SUCH THING?? I'VE TRIED ALL DIFFERENT KINDS OF MEDIA, BITRATES, AND APPS.. I USE NERO5.5 4X, TMPGENCE, VIRTUALDUB, EVEN TRIED VCDEASY.. SAMSUNG 240 WRITER. WOULD ANYONE PLEASE BE SO KIND AS TO OFFER ME ADVICE, TIPS, RECOMMENDATIONS??
