I just bought a 3 pack of Maxell DVD-RAM discs which come in nice DVD cases for only $12.97 (made in Japan) at Wal-Mart and they appear to work just as well as the 3 pack of Panasonic DVD-RAMs I bought 2 Months prior.

  4. I've got 5 "Optodisc" DVD-RAM discs that I use for archives and backups for computer data. They are fine.

Yes, I agree with Philbiker. I use the 9.4GB Optodisc and haven't experienced any problems. They are a ton cheaper than Panasonic. I don't like Optodisc DVD-R's, but the DVD-RAM is great.

    Hi Phil007
I have just found a site called www.blankdiscshop.co.uk and i have just this minute ordered 25 -Rs and 1 DVD-Ram 9.4GB for my Pany E50, I emailed them first and they responded instantly, they also do a 30 day money back Guarantee if you have problems and 1 year warranty, what more could you ask for, excellent site.
    Hope this help.

  7. I also have had a lot of success with the Optodisc DVD-RAM and at less than $6.00 a piece for the 4.7GB and about $7.00 a piece for the 9.4GB, you can't go wrong.

  8. Yep.

I got a 4.7 GB from blankdiscshop too. They r great for CD/DVD-R.

It dont work too well now but thats just coz i havnt looked after it very well..You gotta keep DVD RAM discs very clean n free of scratches, I guess thats why they come in cartridges !.

  10. Hmmm. Sounds like everyone likes the Optodiscs. What about the Ritek DVD-RAMs sold at Meritline.com? They're only $4 a piece (4.7 gig). Any experiences?
