I didn't take that as a personal attack or anything. I've said the same thing before. I personally don't see anything wrong with off topic discussion in addition to on topic discussion. The forum is there for that reason. Some people use it, others don't. It's all a personal choice. I do however see problems with people upping their post count just to have a larger number shown, what's the point to that??
