Will Nanya or Princo DVD-R work in my Pioneer 105

Can anyone tell me if this media will work in my DVD writer to backup my movies?

don know about nanya but princo's will work...
youl get mixed reactions on princo quality....
many HATE it and many swear by it....
ive had pretty good results with princo....
give it a shot.... princos work in most stand alone dvd players ive tried too

I don't know about the Nanya but I'm sure know that Pioneer 105 doesn't like 1X Princo DVD-R. I've had highly failure rate using Pioneer 105 to burn 1X Princo


If you use Nero 5.5, It'll give you Power Calibration error

RecordNow Max fails to burn it too.

But if you could get a hold of B's Recorder Gold 5, it'll allow you to burn Princo successfully.

I guess it is all about the right burning software.

I'm using the hacked firmware 2x4all region-free 12x ripping speed on my 105 and I can burn Princo 1x's @ 2x over 4.0gb with no errors whatsoever.

iu forgot to mention i have a pioneer and a cendyne a05 / 105 with hacked firmware 2x4 all and they burn good....
ive never had a power calibratrion error with record now max, nero, alcohol 120, and copyTOdvd

My Pioneer DVR-A05 has no trouble with princo 1x, 2x or 4x media. I buy mostly from www.allmediaoutlet.com and burn with DVD Decrypter. Never had a media problem yet.

I'm not sure if I'm just lucky, or princo has cleaned up their act, or there was a bad bunch of disc that went out, or they were cloned, etc. But in my hands there's nothing wrong with Princo DVD-R discs.

A colleague has used Nany-ya on his 05, but he has gone and hacked his firmware.

They work perfectly on my 04 without hacking anything.
