I've managed to actually install the drive in, and connected the DC input and IDE cable. I think its the secondary slave, and when the PC's turned on, i can open/close the drive, but otherwise its not recognised.

I've not done this before, so can someone advise me what to do?
Do i have to go into the BIOS settings?
