  1. I created a bunch of VOB, BUP, and "DVD Navigation Files" in a VIDEO_TS folder with DVDShrink - I burned them on a DVDRW with CopyTODvd and things worked fine. However, with my Fujifilm DVDR it gives me an error message. Also, Nero doesn't read that I have a DVD drive. Nor does the "burnatonce" and the burn portion of IMGtools.

What options do I have left? What can I do to solve this problem? Is there any way left that I can burn my "VIDEO_TS" files using freeware or trial software?

    Please, help...

  2. Are you saying your disk doesn't work or your drive? Does nero reconize your burner, just not the disk or when the disk in the drive?

If it's just a burning problem.
I think if you get tmpgenc dvd auther you should be able to burn if everything you have is correct.

It's a free demo a fully works for 30 days.

Start tmpgenc dvd author click the burn disk and point it to the folder that contains the VIDEO_TS folder and AUDIO_TS folders and click burn.

Unless there is a problem with your files or system it should work. I am running W2Kpro, toshiba sd-5002 burner, and using cheap 1x disks and never had a problem yet. Course not everyone gets the same results with this stuff. But I think everyone is liking tmpgenc dvd author so far from what I am reading. Seems to be working well for about everyone.

If your saying you burned a disk with CopyTODvd ok but NERO or other programs do not see you even have a burner installed, then I don't have any idea right now.

  3. Ok, I'll be trying the program you suggested but if anybody knows of other programs or solutions I'd love to hear them...

And yes, the programs I specifically mentioned simply don't recognize that I have a dvd burner at all whether I have a disk in or not.

This is frustrating because obviously I've been able to use other programs (Sonic DVD, RecordNow, etc) with great success.

And no, I don't have RecordNow Max or I'd tried that.

Thanks in advance for any further help...

What version of Nero are you using? was it a version that came bundled with a different burner, or a cd burner, or the DVD burner?
If it was budled with something other than your DVD burner, it's possibly a crippled version which can only write to the burner it was bundled with.

If it's the full version and can't see your burner, it sounds like you have a problem....

Does the media and dvd player compatibility listing on the left tell you if those discs should work in your player?
