I authored and burned a DVD. I want to capture a still from the video to use as the label. Can someone please tell me how to do that? I know I saw the option in one of the umpteen programs I've tried, but I can't remember which one. Thanks.

PowerDVD on WinDVD. PowerDVD saves it as an image copied to the clipboard. WinDVD actually makes an image file, which you can copy to jpeg. Video Studio also has this option. There are several others, but that is all I remember at the moment.
    Hello.

I'd like to add -if you don't have video editing sofware that can do this and need to use PowerDVD, you'll need to disable Hardware Acceleration under the Video tab in Configuration. Then capture your still and re-enable hardware acceleration.

Also, if the video is interlaced, you may find you need to deinterlace the image in an image editing program to get a good enough graphic to print for a cover or label. Something like PaintShopPro that has that function.

Thank you. I tried the PowerDVD and it did the trick. It put the image on the clipboard and I pasted it in my photo program and it was a snap. Again, thanks for the prompt response.
