    OK, this is a dumb newbee question. How do I store data to a dvd-r. I've tried to drag and drop like doing a cd-r, but windows won't recognize the dvd?

    Sorry about the stupid question. I've had good luck burning video!

    Sometimes there are problems with drag and dropping. Try something like Roxo's CD/DVD creator, you just select the files you want to place on the DVD and you select 'burn'. It couldn't be easier.

    yeah go with nero, select data dvd and drag and drop.
