  4. Yea I got the same problem m8. I wanna convert DivX and XviD to VCD and DVD, but I dunno what is the best audio to pick. I use .wav but....

    What Bitrate?
    And How many movies can I put on a Single DVD?

    Yea I got the same problem m8. I wanna convert DivX and XviD to VCD and DVD, but I dunno what is the best audio to pick. I use .wav but....
    wav is going to take up a lot more space on the disc than mp2 or ac3.

    What Bitrate?
    check the Bitrate Calculator in the Tools section

    And How many movies can I put on a Single DVD?
    as many as you can fit into 4.7 Gb in a format your player will read.

    anything I could tell you in an email has been exhaustively covered in this forum and in the guides.

    I would suggest you read through the guides in the How To: Convert section at the upper left, and come back with specific questions after that.

  11. ok so i ve followed the guides to pretty much the letter and i just have a couple questions....in TMPGEnc..... when i choose the folder to put the files the video and the audio are separate...not comined...is that right? Also, the video is REALLY choppy playing...not smooth like a normal movie.....pause after pause....what am i doing wrong here guys??

    You might have an abnormally low bitrate setting or low fps.

    And during encoding, the preview will be choppy no matter how fast your computer is (assuming you don't have a cray :P ).

  13. actually it was choppy in playback after encoding...i was able to play the video file even tho there was zero audio....
