    I just purchased nec 1300a and have had a few quirks so far. I backupped a disc using TDK -R and it plays perfectly on PS2, Panasonic rv32, and rv31. I attempted my second backup using a Verbatin DataLifePlus +R. The backup played on my PS2, rv31, but not the rv32. I have the 1.05 firm-ware. Does anyone know why +R would not work on all three machines.

    Verbatim also uses CMC for media.
    CMC = Crap Making Company.
    The media is awful. Only media that ever failed during burn on me.
