OK i am new to all this but i have a 730MB avi file which i want to burn to VCD, so it requires two CD's...how do i split the file or is there some good software that does all this for me? at the moment i have Nero Express...please help my hard drive space is shrinking daily![]()

How do you know it'll need 2 cds ? The size of your VCD file(s) will depend on the length of your movie - an 80 min CDR will hold 80 mins of VCD quality video. Likewise a 90min CDR hold 90 and a 99 min CDR holds 99 mins of VCD standard video.

Actually he could, since that link goes from DVD to VCD, and his source is AVI to VCD, I would suggest a different guide for that one
