Good poll. Maybe it should get moved to the polls section!
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?

Good, because it is a major source of what's wrong in this country.

  8. "The Fatcats" is a way of saying people with power that put their need for profits over the freedoms, safety, health, etc. of the people. No one blames corporations for making money (well ok a few do). What upsets people is when companies try to screw people over or limited thier freedoms in the name of profits.

The DMCA does just that. Its a law that should have NEVER been passed. Much like the virtual child porn law. It won't stand up to appeal when/if someone decides to fight it that far.

Not everything is done with malice, some are just mistakes. For example, granting a patent on the BRCA (aka breast cancer) gene sequence. That patent should never have been granted.

i think the "virtual child porn" law has been struck down..

isnt that the one where they put a childs head on a "young looking" adult?

i remember hearing about it many months ago on the news..
