Sonic DVD Architect

I have been using Sonics DVD Architect for a while now, and I need some help from someone who is using this.

How do you make the animated buttons continue playing even when the background video has stopped.
I have a background video that I dont want to loop, but If I uncheck the loop option, the animated buttons also stop when the video finishes playing.

But If I could loop the video from a certain time that would also work for me. Or just have the video stop and the buttons continue playing.
Does anyone know if this is possible, and if not, with what program can I do this?

The entire menu is one single MPEG file.

the buttons are not seperate items.
