Video Pausing

[NWT Extreme Video]

The svcd that I am trying to make gets about 2 minutes into the video and starts pausing(video only) the audio then gets ahead of video. This is in the DVD player not in the computer. After about five minutes the audio is 10 seconds off and the video Sucks!(pausing)

Ok.. first question did you use svcd2dvd to make a dvd or are you playing the svcd?

if the first then there can be a few reasons.
1. your player isn't to happy with svcd-dvd
2. your mpg source wasn't good. not complete mpgs can give troubles. and if you can play them it doesn't mean it is complete. You can check if it is ok by demuxing and muxing it again with tmpgenc.
