what player is the best

i am looking to boy a dvd player from asda
its either the pacific 1002 £45
or schneider 857 £38
both really cheap just want to know what plays most the best
ie vcd svcd dvd-r and so on

A number of posters will put a comment out asking which one is best and "they" are usually surprised to learn that there is a dvd player section that will answer their question for them.

When I found your unanswered post, I figured that I would help you out in 2 ways. 1) provide you with a possible avenue of gathering additonal information to help you answer your question, and 2) move your unanswered question back on the list for the main site so that others could see it again and hopefully give you more information.
