  1. newbie here...I was encoding a file and it had 50% left.. i don't want to encode the whole thing again...can anyone show me a way (step by step) to resume encoding with TMPGEnc?? and how do i use the source range???...please help!

  2. Well, you can't really resume, persay. What you can do it start another encoding session and start that session where the other left off and have it encode from there to the end, then merge the 2 clips together.

Move the slider to where you want to start your encode. You can do that by dragging it, by using the << or >> buttons and by entering frame numbers directly in the start frame box. When it's right where you want it hit the Set Start Frame button. Repeat for the final frame and hit the Set End Frame button. Hit OK when done.

Nope, that's used if you want to cut something out from the middle of your clip.

It displays the green line which represents the audio track. It's useful for finding where the audio kicks in at the start of a film.

  14. batch encoding is very useful you can do what it says encode in batches
like for instance you have 4 projects you want to encode
you can set your settings and run the batch encode and itll let you know when all files have been encoded instead of encoding one file at a time
