  1. I've tried and tried burning my dvd-rw backup with nero 6 it burns the dvd but never works when I play it. Always says this disc is damaged or scratched. (followed tutorials). Burned same dvd with copytodvd and it worked fine. Any ideas as to whats going on with nero? My drive is a 106 pioneer. Thanks!

  2. I'm having the same problem. It worked great at first, but now nothing burned with Nero 6 will play. I'm going back to 5 until a solution is found.

  3. Well I've been working on my problem some more and have found out dvd's burned with nero will play on my stand alone dvd players and windows media player, but not powerdvd version 4.0. keep getting the message DVD ERROR (code 89020003 the dvd disc might have been damaged so as to inhibit playback operation. Please clean to surface of the disc if possible. If it has been scratched it might not be readable). Like I said powerdvd plays dvds burned on copytodvd. Could I possibly need a new version of powerdvd? My OS is windows XP. Thanks again for any help!

I had nothing but bad luck with NERO and DVD's. Use Stomp Record Now Max instead. Never made a coaster with it.
