  1. What is the reason for all of my vcd's being screwed up during playblack on my DVD player. The video oftenly freezes and skips and there are lots of digital blops. What is wrong?

    How do you create them? tools, settings?
    Have you tried with different media?
    Different authoring and burning tools?

  3. I burn .cue files as an image with Nero, I guess I will try different tools...

  4. There could be lots of reasons, it could be the media, if it is an XVCD some DVD players cant cope with it, you would have to be more specific

I have the same problem...except I'm positive that my dvd player is compatible with svcd's and xvcd's too- so after trying to fix my mpg files for a while i finally gave up and chose to burn with out the standard on nero bc i hear that's what an xvcd is, but what happened for me is that I had a bunch of smaller video files (avi's and mpg's) and less then half of them played correctly- some of them didn't skip but just played too slowly. anyway- could it be that the files need to be insync in some way? They are all the same frame rate...
