  1. I just bought a toshiba sd 2700 to play my vcd's on and am having some problems. When I play the vcd every once in a while the video will get choppy and then some times the video will stop altogether while the audio keeps playing at the regular pace, also when I start the vcd up again it might go past that point the video froze up and freeze up at a different point this time. Now my question is this, is this problem the fault of my dvd player or is it something else on the list of things to make a vcd. The vcd plays fine on my computer when I play it with window's media player. Any help would be greatly appreciated cause I really want to know if I should take this dvd player back and get a different brand. And if so could you suggest a brand that I should get, cause I was looking at a Hitachi and a Pioneer as my ohter choices.

    thanks
    Jeff

  3. O,

What speed are you burning the VCD at? Also, have you tried a different brand of disc?

  4. Take your home made disc, go to the electronic store and try it out on all the demo units. whichever one play the disc, is the one to get, trade your Toshiba for that one. Pioneer or Hitachi is a good starting point.
