I'm brand new to DVD ripping. I have downloaded DVDx which I hear is the best program to use for beginners that wish to create MPEG files from their DVD collections. However, every time I rip an episode off one of my desired DVD, the end product sound track skips. Additionally, the footage seems to have increased from the speed on the original DVD. (On a side note the episodes play at the correct speed when I play them from my DVD drive, so I don't think the problem has to do with the hardware aspect.) I have browsed through many in-depth tutorials written on DVDx, as well as reasearched the general art of DVD rips. Yet I still find myself completely lost as to how I could solve this problem. DVDx suggests that I should increase the 'buffer' on my output settings to prevent carriage underflow. But what level should I push this to? Nothing I've tried has worked. If someone could possibly shed some light on this, I'd be most grateful. Thank you!
