  1. I'm new-have pity. I used an ATI-AllinWonder Radeon to capture as mpg files (following guide on this website-including using the Registery Tool)from my video camera. Also captured as AVI and converted to mpg using avi2vcd tool. Nothing I've tried to play on my Sony standalone DVD player. It is about 6 months old and is supposed to play DVD/VCD/SVCD. Any suggestions? I thought it might be the media: I've tried Memorex and Maxell. Thanks in advance for any help. I'm desperate!!!!

  2. Thanks! I was using cheap Memorex CD-R. I had some CD-RW disks that I tried, and that did the trick.
