    I'm not sure if this exists but i was wondering if you purchase a cable to connect s-video to usb. i want to connect my camcorder to computer and was wondering if this possible. i know there are capture cards but just wondering about this. thankz

    You can get them, see here, although I would not reccomend them. USB does not really have a fast enough data transfer rate for video capture.

    Hi ya

    I have found that a dedicated capture card is best to capture from any anolouge sourse if you camcorder has got i-link or firewire Ieee1394 then a dedicated fire wire card is best

    best of luck also get a card that is capable of capturing mpeg1 and 2 as well of AVI
