Hope they don't mess them up like Back to the Future. And hope they keep them at low prices.
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?

Amazon had it listed at preorder for around $45 for the set....

I didn't read too much of the description so I'm not sure what all they did to it...

From what I've read they only changed one scene. When Indy is in the pit of snakes there is a closeup of a cobra right in his face. In the original you can see some glare from the glass plate that was between them during filming, and in the DVD release they fixed that.

As for messing up the Back to the Future DVDs, I wasn't aware they changed anything from the originals, at least I couldn't notice any changes. I found the cover art and menu's incredibly boring and a complete let down, but the transfer was otherwise very well done.

Or are you perhaps referring to the initial release which was recalled due to improper framing? In any case, I don't think that affected too many people, certainly not those in Region 1 areas. They addressed the problem right away.

The bad framing ones was it. Thanks, I couldn't remember exactly what was wrong. At any rate, I was almost ready to buy the laserdiscs when I heard they would be coming. Saves me from having to cap them.
