  1. Hi guys,

I've seen a few posts where people have asked this question before, sorry if it sounds repetetive but the posts i have read don't seem to have enough detail to help me.

I've got various tools, including TMPGEnc DVD Author and DVD2one.

I think i can put 2 movies on 1 dvdr by using DVD2AVI then TMPGEnc to create the mpgs and then TNPgenc DVD Author to author and burn.

I was wondering if there was a quicker way as i used this method to create VCDs snd it takes HOURS! I thought by buying a DVD Writer the process would be much quicker.

I've seen posts where people say use DVD2one, but don't give more info than that.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks

  2. To use DVD2one, all you need to do is specify the size that you want the movie to be (MB) on the opening screen so that your two movies are less than 4.37gb. Then use the authoring tool to create a compliant DVD and burn.

  3. When I say two movies, I mean that together the two movies add up to less than 4.37gb.

  4. Thanks Aaron,

Do you rip both the movies to seperate VIDEO_TS folders or to the same folder and then author?
Is more than one VIDEO_TS folder allowed on a DVD?

use DVD Shrink to shrink each movie to 2.1 gig in seperate folders

import them with TMPGEnc DVD Author

    then burn

i like my way better as i put the movie together first and then use ic7 to shrink the movie

i tried putting 2 movie together first with TMPGEnc to one big file so that i could shrink it

but the project stop twice after an hour. it said that i was out of ram, and i got 512mb of ddr

  6. Cool, so you can import more than one video_ts folder into TMPGEnc author.
    I'll give that a wiz.

    Cheers

make sure you click add title

before you import your second movie

so that they will be seperate and not just one playing right after the other
