I was thinking the other day while ripping some movies that it would be cool if our computers could do the following.
It would be cool if the computer actually could learn everytime you use it. Depending on what you do, gaming, encoding, or typing papers for school or work, it would learn what you do the most, what your interests are, and then could better configure its system to meet your needs. So a computer that you may put together or buy from a manufacturer that isn't great for gaming but the more you play games on it now becomes a better computer for gaming as a result.
I wonder if this is possible. Might make these systems more efficient if it could happen.
Have a great day! :P

I'd be scared if computers did that. It would be the start of Skynet.

That'd be cool. When we'd have nothing but hot chicks running around in tight leather clothes. 8)

Leave it to California to have the strangest people running for Gov. I mean, Jerry Springer, Larry Flint, Arnold...c'mon.
But yeah, I guess it would be kinda like skynet if our computers had that much control over what they were doing. -
Aren't they approaching that now?
Windows is supposed to analyze your usage and continually optimize for you.
Norton Speed Disk does the same, sees what you use most and re-writes those apps to the beginning of the drive for faster response.
You can bet they will get closer than they are now, else why would you keep buying the latest version?
When they do get to that state, it will go by its old name, Artificial Intelligence, AI for short. Couple more gigahertz might get us there. -
It'll be interesting to see how much more advanced our PC's are, or can become in the next 5 years. Only time will tell.

As a resident of CA I have to say the recall of the Governor is a joke but I put my money on the Terminator.
