I'm using dvd2svcd which runs tmpgenc. Does anyone know how to put the change cd images in using these?

Although you can still use DVD2SVCD for the main rendering portion of your new SVCD, I recommend that you use VCDEasy for adding the "Change CD" image, which is actually an "MPEG still".
There's a great tutorial on this here.
Here's one of the examples they use...

I may be wrong..... how I hate that!!!
Innyhoo, I think that, since I burn with Nero, and "Enable Menu", it includes the hand holding the CD that is the Change Icon. Tell you the truth, don't recall if I ever burnt one without enable checked, but always end disk 1 with the change CD image. -
I don't know if it is Nero, but when I burn a disk, the, I think, first page has a checkbox for "Menu". I do not know, for sure, but think that's the one that adds the "Change Disk" pic at the end of the first disk, or second disk if it takes three.

The popup help over that menu item says it is used for SVCDs and also looking at its structure it seems to be just for menu items at the start of the film. Can't see ant reference to the end image

Am I being thick or are you asking about the settings on this page of the program.

Nevermind Finally understood the posting images instructions duh!!!

I use Nero Burning ROM to create VCDs and just wondered if there is a way of having an image at the end of Disk1 to prompt the user to "Insert Disk 2"
-
I think in Nero you would have to create an MPEG still and insert that as your last track.

To answer your question a bit more directly...
When using DVD2SVCD you go to the "CD Image" tab and you will find the check boxes on the left side of the window to enable the "Title Picture" and the "Change CD Pic". The boxes to the right of the checkboxes are for typing in the path to the actual pictures that you want to use.
DVD2SVCD already comes with some defaults for these but you can certainly change them to whatever you want.

I've seen the cd-image tab in dvd2svcd, and the check boxes are checked for the change cd image and the image is in the correct location, but they never seem to show up at the end of the disc. Whaaaaaaaaaa!

I'm gonna have to burn a couple disks, one with, one without Nero"s Menu option checked. I do NOT remember selecting such in DVD2SVCD. Nero, yes, and I get a hand holding a CD, which is a file in DVD2SVCD's output. About 15 gigs of output, I might add, and 40 files.
This is Nero 5.9.x.x.
