  1. I have created flawless MPEG's VCD and SVCD, but there's no menu and no Chapter's. I'd like to know how to do that.

You can post here or i have ICQ At 127807573

  2. TSCV (www.ttool.org) will allow you to do this. I've never had much trouble with the program, but then I like to play around with software

You can make still/motion menus, seamless chapters (aka entrypoints), intro/extro MPEG, etc. etc.

  4. as long as everyone's throwing in ideas, there's the good and faithful i-author. the problem with it is that enreach no longer makes it and its difficult to find a copy.

but with it, you can make very advanced menus, slideshows, as wel as chapter entry points (with a little bit of tricking)

  5. this is the easiest way to do chapters....gonna tell you in two seconds

download TSCV and the imager you need to go with it.....

    http://www.ttool.de/indexe.htm

k....put them in the same folder.

k....now if you have nero installed go into the nero directory and copy the cdi folder into the TSCV folder. (if you dont have nero, put in any vcd if you have one and copy if from there....if not...you can download it from the same site)

ok..still with me? its a pain to get set up but its easy as soon as you get goin

now, what you do is this, open TSCV, go to the settings screen, check vcd/svcd whatever your doing, check
    PAL/NTSC..whatver your using (probably NTSC)

fill in your volume id..whatever you wanna name it

leave the three boxes on the right checked

leave intro and extro mpg blank

pick where you want the *.bin to be outputted

click on Tmpenc12i button and locate the exe file of Tmpgenc (hopefully you use this program and you have it, if not...get it its the best)

click on VCDImager...show the program where that is (should be in the TSCV directory if you put them in the same spot)

    DONE WITH THAT?

    K....

    click on the menu tab

click on the little cd icon

the option add mpg blacks in....click that and add your mpg

another window will open asking you for a vfavi or somethin...just cancell it, you dont need that now

now you should have your mpg added...click on the mpg and it should take you to the chapters tab

you have four boxes right there...do it however you want....(specific times, every 10 minutes...etc...whatever you want)

MAKE SURE THAT AFTER EACH ENTRY YOU PRESS THE ENTER BUTTON AND HEAR THAT LITTLE "BING"----you will see the entrys appear in the CHAPTERS box

after all the chapters are in there...just click create cue/bin

    your done

you burn that cue as a cdimage and you have a working vcd with chapters that can be advanced by numbers or <<, >>.

to find out how to burn the bin files go to

    http://www.vcdhelp.com/burnbin.htm

    your done

ive done it tons of times and it hasnt failed yet

if you have questions let me know...may be better off emailin me

im workin on menus..ill let you know about that
