  1. Sorry if this is a old topic...didnt pull up anything in the search. Feel free to flame at will.

    I guess I'm new to all this. HAd no problems backing up my first DVD-5, worked perfect first try. Then used DVD Shrink and then Copy to DVD to back up my first DVD-9 and the aspect ratio is coming up all off. Everyone is tall and skinny. I'm taking nearly everything out except the AC-3 6 Channel Audio tracks and of course the movie itself. I'm even taking out all the subtitles.

    There's probably some silly option somewhere I'm overlooking. Or I'm just plum retarded. AGain...feel free to flame me at will, however any help or direction is greatly appreciated.

  2. look at the settings for your standalone DVD player...you need to adjust that to 4:3 Pan & Scan.... for your regular TV

    your dvd player may be set on 16:9 widescreen... for widescreen HDTV and plasmas
