  1. What is the difference between DVD-R and DVD-RW? They both state 4.7 GB.
    Can anyone tell me?

    Thanks in advance!!

  2. DVD-R is write-once, DVD-RW is rewritable.

  3. What would you recommend using. I just want to back up my original DVD movies that I bought so they don't get wrecked.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

  4. If you are only going to write to the disk once, then back-up your movies with DVD-R. DVD-R is cheaper and you would be wasting your money on a DVD-RW if you only burn it once. DVD-RW cost more then DVD-R.
