using smart ripper

when i try to use smart ripper to rip a dvd to my comp it comes up with some of the files are locked ...how do i unlock them..thanks for any replies

you need to unlock your drive. do this by opening the dvd in a player (like powerdvd or such). when it starts, then open smartripper or if already open , hit the "reload" button (top right)

the locked mssg for smartripper should say "try unlocking with a player"...

what sometimes works is to play the DVD in your software player (WinDVD/PowerDVD etc..) for a minute, then stop it.

Now open smartripper again & hopefully it will be able to access the whole disc.
