    I have a Philips LX 3000 and i create a SVCD with 2 audios ( English and Portuguese ) and 1 selectable sub ( Portuguese ). The DVD player dont recognize the second audio stream and the sub ( it have a option to select 4 subs ). It read only the first audio. Anyone help me please. Thanks

  2. What authoring program did you use? I don't think I-Author subs will work for you.


    There are 2 standards for subs on SVCD. You probably need the SVCD ones, not the CVD ones. I think there are sample svcds with these features on this site. Try the what is section. You could use them to test your player to see if it's your authoring or the player.

    You may be able to test the audio in something line powerdvd.

    Ok, thanks. Im using DVD2SVCD "vcdxbuild" and it create a cd image at finish of process. My player is Philips LX 3000, i dont know if it support selectable audios.

  4. DVD2SVCD (great program) probably lets you pick the kind of subs. Use SVCD not CVD.

    Ok, i know that forum... Thanks. I used SVCD subs, i put audio 1 priority ( English ) audio 2 priority ( Portuguese ) and choose 1 SVCD subs language (not permanent), as i said, the player dont recognizes the audio 2 and the sub. Ill test with the samples i downloaded here in the forum. Thanks.
