Tmpgenc Plus hang once I start to encode

I used to have no problems encoding my xvid and divx files to mpg but recently i cannot seem to encode it anymore. Once i start to encode my movies, tmpgenc will hang immediately. I cannot seem to figure out the reason why the sudden problem with it.
I tried to encode anime and there is no problem with it. It only hangs while encoding movies. Any idea? thanks!

I've stop using TMPGENC both versions and also MainConcept Encoders for Aare Converter, which in my opinon does a far better job in converting. Yes this program isn't for free, but it works VCDs, SVCDs and DVDs from AVI(Divx and Xvid) comes out right you just have to make sure you have the right codecs installed.

Aare works like this, 1 you open the AVI file
2. you tell it the location and name to save it as
3. select VCD, SVCD or DVD format
4. you can fill-in a VCD, SVCD and DVD image
5. you can preview avi it before and after re-sized
6. just press convert
7. press preview while it converts avi (optional)
8. press start
9. when finish you just press close

That's it....

try uninstalling tmpg, then reinstall it.

i tried uninstalling it but its still the same
oh boi... how to solve this problem.. it just happen suddenly... didnt even do anything to it
