is it possible to make the menus smaller. after importing the back ground and adding ten chapter points it takes up all the screen and you cant see hardly any off the back ground. can you also manualy reposition them how you want on the screen.

You're talking about using DVDLab, right?

Are you using the auto chapter process? Most of us using DVDLab add our chapters by hand, which allows you to resize the images any way you want. But you should be able to move things around.

thought i done it no such luck. can anyone help? just want to import background , auto 10 chapters and put menu on top dont want to go from one screen to another. so when playing dvd back ground comes up with 10 chapters on menu and then go any where from 1to 10 please help?

Can't say I do this, and I'm too lazy to test it out, but:

I'd say when dvdlab does the auto chapters, it is creating stills for you. I'd think you could resize the buttons, but maybe not the stills. You could of course create your own stills.

10 seems like a lot to fit on the screen. 5x2? You could also make a switched menu. I think dvdlab has a function/guide to do that (look on site under tips). With that, you'd have one picture and a list of chapter names. Navigating up and down goes thru the names and changes the picture. + is you get a bigger picture and more fit. - is not all pictures on the same screen.

it's not hard, you should be able to click on a chapter thumbnail and resize it.

there is a manual way to do it, I will post info in a few hours - I'm at work, so I don't want to tell you from memory and miss a step!
