I'm looking for a program that will allow me to capture DV (720x480) straight to mpeg-1 or mpeg-2 for VCD or SVCD format. This way I can place my home videos on VCD.
I'm using Premiere 6.0 but it only captures DV in the standard 720x480, thereby using up a lot of disk space. I see that Windows Movie Maker in Windows XP can capture DV straight into WMV format, but there is no available WMV to MPEG or AVI converter.
Thanks for anyone's help

Campeg software is the best one out there. Captured fromDV in real time to MPG dvd compliant
file. Use TMPEG to re encode to VCD or SVCD.
