Ok...
I think this is a cause of a lot of the sync problems when converting a DiVX to SVCD etc...
Many of my DiVX movies use 48kHz VBR MP3 audio.
Does mPlayer have a hard time with either VBR and/or non 44.1kHz audio tracks?
Might it be best to strip out the audio track as a AIF/WAV and encode separately?
