Hello,
Sorry if this the wrong index for this post. Plz move it then to the right index and email.
I have an NEC 1300 burner and tried to make my on dvd. When i burned one and put it in my jvc XV-521BK, then it doesn't read it.
Also tried an dvd-r (brand Nashuatec), same problem.
It takes an long read on the player and it always displays on the player self 0:00:00:00.
Anyone ever burned for the JVC XV-521BK and what disc/brand and type did you use?
Thanks in advance,
Jachra

I have almost the same problem with my JVC 521-bk.
Cheap brands of DVD+R and DVD-R works fine. They are recognized immediatly but when using Verbatim +R or -R that error occures in about 60 % of the time. The strange thing that when I try the same disc again later on it sometimes play OK after a recognision time of about 45 Sec.
I really depends of the Media-brand. I already tried several burning software and the results are always the same.
I think the JVC 521-BK needs a new firmware, but I do not know if there is any.
greetings
