  1. i'm trying to burn a m2v file on a dvd so that my dvd player will be able to play it. how can i do that? is it possible to do it with nero? i tried dvd-video in nero but it won't accept the m2v files because its more than 2 gigs

    You need to author the DVD before you burn it. Authoring and burning are two seperate things.

    no flame intended here, but you are going to have to do some more reading and research and then more reading, dude. Take a look at the "AUTHOR" section under this site's HOW TO. Personally, I started out with SpruceUp, which is a very simple DVD Authoring program to start with. I then moved WAAAAY up to Pinnacle DVD Impression Pro , which has a huge learning curve for me. Now DVD-lab DVD-lab has made my learning the Pinnacle product much easier, as their interface is alike in many respects.

    Isn't an m2v file just video and no audio? why would you want to author that?

    anyways for a simple authoring program try ulead dvd movie factory or tmpgenc dvd author. And follow the gudies for these programs on this site:
