i'm trying to burn a m2v file on a dvd so that my dvd player will be able to play it. how can i do that? is it possible to do it with nero? i tried dvd-video in nero but it won't accept the m2v files because its more than 2 gigs

You need to author the DVD before you burn it. Authoring and burning are two seperate things.

Isn't an m2v file just video and no audio? why would you want to author that?
anyways for a simple authoring program try ulead dvd movie factory or tmpgenc dvd author. And follow the gudies for these programs on this site:
