Wondering if anyone has any experience with the different input cable types for capturing. From what I've read and been able to find over the last couple of weeks, Composite is a step above RG6, and S-video is a step above composite. My problem is that the PC is located about 50 feet from the satellite receiver, and was wondering if there are any major problems with a 50 foot run of either S-video or composite cable, assuming I can find either type in that length.
I can't permanently locate the PC closer to the satellite, but did so for a short test to confirm that both composite and s-video give better input than coax. Didn't see a large noticible difference between composite or svideo.
