DVD Shrink and Terminator 2 DVD NTSC

As I am now playing DVDs on my Xbox, I want to convert all my Region 1 DVDs so that they work. My usual tool for resizing te video is DVDShrink - it has never given me grief. Until now.

First, using 1.3. The DVD has already been ripped, but when I click to Re-Author the program crashes with an error message. So, I updated to latest 2.3. Here, it reads the file, then crashes completely after about 2 seconds, I believe when the preview image appears. Same thing happens if I tell it to read the disk.

What is wrong?
