Before we get started on the wrong track.....let us be sure
we understand your problem.
You have four files. Two .bin and two .cue. What are
the sizes of those four files? -
OK. I think I got it.
You received two SVCD images and you authored
them to a single DVD file that is 4.3 gigabytes.
That is a reasonable thing to do.
It sounds like your authoring program did a good job
because it built a file that is exactly the right size
for a DVD. A DVD is supposed to hold 4.3 gigabytes.
You do plan to put the result on a DVD, do you not?
If so, what makes you think it is too big? And how much
too big is it? It should fit.
Perhaps you were intending to put the result on ordinary
CDs????? In that case, you need to handle the entire
project a bit differently. You would simply use a CD burner
to copy each .bin file to its own disk, without any intermediate
processing whatsoever. "Burn Image" or whatever your
burner calls it.
Does this make any sense to you? -
Yeah i want to put it on a dvd. I have dvd-rw dvd+rw dvd-r and dvd+r disc. movie 2 factory says the file is 4.4 gigs. when i try and burn it using movie factory it tells me i might not have enough disk space for the project. it give me hard drive space needed something like 6.7 gigs then hard drive space available he shows 45 gigs then below it says for disc spave required 4.4 gigs space available 4.4 gigs. so it should work. so i tried it but ran out of disc space. so i made and ISO of the movie. what program can i use to burn that? maybe that will work
thanks -
The authored dvd is obviously too big at 4.4GB to fit on a dvd5. Run it through dvd2one to trim it down, or dvdshrink (freeware).

You asked what program you can use to burn an image.
I believe that I used DVD Decryptor to burn an ISO
image and it was successful. -
First off i would like to thank you guys so much for the help. I used dvdshrink to get it down to 4.41 gigs. What software can i use to burn it? i tried nero and it wouldn't open the file. i will try dvd decpyter as soon as it is done shrinking the file. i will let you guys know.
thanks again

it still wont fit ...... it needs to be 4.38 gigs or less to fit on a dvdr
-
Okay i got it down to 4.32 gigs. now what program shopuld i use to burn it to a disc so i can watch it in my dvd player? i was playing around with dvd decrypter like someone said but can't figure out how to burn it to dvd.
thanks -
Here is what I remember doing with DVD Decryptor.
Mode/Iso/Write
Then select a file to write.
Then press the 'write' (the picture in the lower left).
