are all version's of "Tmpgenc" freeware ? Or does the program expire after 30 day's ?

Takovr, MPEG-1 encoding (used in VideoCD) is freeware in all versions of TMPEG. MPEG-2 encoding (used in SuperVideoCD) expires after 30 days, but there are ways around this so you can use it for more (or forever!).
Do a search in the forums for "TMPEG" and "expire" for more info.
