Hi,
I am currently trying to put an xvid avi file to svcd with TMPGEnc. I am using the standard ntsc film template. Are these the best video quality that can be obtained? or can better be obtained using better settings?
Cheers

I would:
1) Load the SuperVideoCD (NTSC).mcf
2) Encode at constant bit rate
3) Keep the encoding bit rate at 2520
4) Encode as non-interlace (progressive scan)
5) Set the motion search estimate to High Quality slow
