TMPgenc help req blank screen output

Hi
I'm trying to convert a Xvid avi file using TMPgenc but when you choose the source range the movie is blank. I've tried a program called cucusoft to convert it in demo mode and the output is OK. Could somebody point me in the right direction for right settings. the movie is 480x352 and is 25fps.

if you already have the latest xvid codec installed, then just raise the priority of the direct show filter to a 2 in the environmental settings of tmpgenc. you do that by right-clickiing on the direct show filter line.
