    I opened a VOB file in Mpeg Streamclip last night but it keeps telling me my mpeg 2 needs an update. The VOB file opens but I don't see any picture! I have Quicktime Pro version 7 point something. Anybody know what this means and if and where I can find an update?

    Apple QuickTime 7 is the official distribution of QuickTime. This free installer is recommended, however it is a very large file (more than 20 MB without iTunes) and it does not include MPEG-2 decoding (you have to buy the MPEG-2 playback component separately from Apple, for $19.99).

    Eh... read rest requirements info... about old QuickTime Alternative (1.81).


    (Similarly as QT - DivX Converter require DivX MPEG-2 Plug-in for MPEG-2 files - buy and registered separately.)
