  1. Hello,
I have burned some home movies onto DVD using CCE2.67 Basic. I have set the top field first to zero, used 6k CBR and 6k 2pass VBR, and put the result on DVD+RW. When I play the discs on my computer the video is crisp and there are no issues. When I play it on my Toshiba player (~4 yrs old), the video has a slight choppy feel to it. Not so choppy that you cannot make out the scene, but it looks like I was jittery the entire time I was taping.
I am wondering if I would need to get another player. Has anyone else had this happen? If there are settings on my CCE that need to be changed let me know. Here are my CCE settings:

    were these DV ?

if so set offset to 1

    use 2 pass VBR 9000, 7000, 2000

Luminance 0-255 (since if its Dv its already 16-235) and you dont want it futher clamped.

    n/M to 4

    M to 3

You may want to slide complexity over to the right one notch or try to the left one notch .
