  1. thanks.

Also could you tell me, one of mine mpeg is about 125mbs, has a 30fps in the infomation bit, I want to change it to 25fps, so I used the program TMPGEnc, re encode it. My question is, can someone tell me if the new mpeg is going to be bigger than 125mbs, if so by how much?

    Thanks

The file size is determined by the length of the clip (# of secs.) times the selected bitrate of the encoder (bits/sec.). Without knowing any of that nobody can guess as to the size of your resulting file, it could be bigger, smaller or exactly the same.

Just changing the framerate does not affect the file size.

.mpg is the standard file extension for an mpeg file.

Yes, just as .jpg is the 3 letter extension for a jpeg image and so on, all the same in our world, unless you are a computer looking for an exact file extension.
