    yeah i just converted a ntsc mpg (svcd) to mpg (pal) using tmpgenc 2.59.47.155, the svcd was fine before, but the finsihed vcd when playing back on my pc has a very bad blur, it's like a blur with straight lines in it, it happens at the slightest movement too, any help please. oh it does it when it changes scene in the film as well...

    Sounds like interlacing.

    well i unchecked interlacing, and just tried it again, but it still does it

    i just converted a little bit of it to ntsc vcd and it's fine, might aswell go with this cuz my stand alone supports ntsc, i got 2 stand alone's a phillips and logix, logix supports ntsc but has trouble with svcds but my phillips will play svcds fine but when trying to record to video its black and white, the whole main purpose of this is to transfer it video tape, thanks for the help tho...
